Better, but this is turning out to be my experimenting board. I just took the wheels off of my freestyle board and put them on here. 55mm 98a. I also took off the strip of grip and covered the whole top. I am going to ride it next time I am at the skatepark and see how that works out. Should be fun if I don't get too wrecked.
Saw one of these on ebay from "newclue" for 30 bucks, just as you found it. I'm thinking about getting one, but the custom hole patterns scare me. I was planning to throw on a pair of tracker darts on there. How easy is it to drill new holes? I've never done it before!
It is a good deal on a fun deck at $30. You don't have to drill completely new holes, just open up 2 of the four a little bit longways on each truck. Im sure you can handle it, just go slow. And for the darts, the regular ones are drilled for newschool mounting but there are also some with both new and oldschool holes. Unless you want to drill the baseplates as well as the board make sure you get the ones that can mount oldschool too. I think all the ones thin enough to make sense on this board are 6-hole but make sure before you buy.
I do have the darts with both new and old school holes. Thanks for the info! Still a bit iffy on the drilling, but hey, if I mess up, it'll make a cool 30 dollar decoration on my wall!
I bought my two as deck only. I have not seen them for sale complete either. I prefer deck only as you can put together a better setup, it will cost a little more though.
Does the deck feel pretty good with the upgrades to the bushings and bearings?
